Job Description

  • Utilise and optimize available technology to track the vehicles movement
  • Monitor load plan and communicate deviations to route planned
  • Review and analyse daily trip sheet and feedback to management
  • Accessibility to customers and communicate any delays with customers’ delivery
  • Make adjustments to the load plan to ensure service and efficiency responsiveness
  • Work with distribution and sales team to develop priorization rules for loads to minimize delays delivery
  • Produce and review various performance reports to drive results
  • Update and maintain the master data monthly
  • Monitor KPIs daily and advise

KPI’s:
• Daily reporting on planned vs. actual deliveries (KPI can be % of planned deliveries per day)
• Measuring of TAT at customer and possible deviations from load plan (KPI can be improvement of TAT from the current/previous year or month)
• Daily communication with customers (100% communication with customers that are not getting deliveries on the NDD)
• Reduction of redeliveries (As a % from the current or previous year)

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • Tertiary qualification
  • Knowledge and experience in routing
  • Ability to work on weekends.
  • Own transport
