The mission of the Allied Brand team is to drive growth and revenue across partner brands by extending the PBNA portfolio with unique brands that unlock incremental category segments and cohorts. We do this by delivering best-in-class partnership support, leading and influencing the development of brand strategies that will drive the future success of partner brands within PBNA. We partner with Divisions to drive superior execution across key brands such as Dr Pepper, Crush, Schweppes, Rockstar Energy, Ocean Spray, Fruit Shoot, VOSS, Bundaberg and Cheerwine strengthen PepsiCo’s total LRB portfolio..
What is your role
The Sales Associate Manager within the Allied Brands team is a key contributor to driving the Keurig Dr Pepper brands within the PBC Divisions and across our Franchise Bottling system.
The Dr Pepper, Crush, and Schweppes Trademarks are cornerstones of the Keurig Dr Pepper portfolio and play a critical role within PepsiCo’s total LRB portfolio. The Sales Associate Manager will work closely with the Keurig Dr Pepper brand teams to ensure we are driving growth and positioning the brand for future success within the Carbonated Soft Drink category.
Working on the Allied Brand’s team presents a unique opportunity to gain general manager experience, exposure to PepsiCo senior executives and C-suite level partnership leadership, while developing the skills necessary to influence short and long-term strategic brand agendas. Allied Brand team members play an active role across Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Revenue Management, Enterprise Customer Teams, Strategy, PEP Brand and Division teams in driving innovation and execution metrics.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
Provide expertise with the commercialization/communication process for Keurig Dr Pepper innovation including package optimization and promotions including IMS development, sell decks, Sightline, Period Priorities, etc.
Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Integration team on the commercialization of new product innovation, as well as the rollout of promotional graphics & programming.
Actively contribute during AOP planning to help develop the long-term strategic vision for the Keurig Dr Pepper brands within PepsiCo
Analyze category and brand performance to unlock package, price or product opportunities to drive incremental volume
Partner with Division and Customer leads to drive flawless execution of the brands and field programming
Partner with Division and Customer leads to develop category and brand sell stories based on analytics and brand performance to unlock business opportunities
Ensure contractual obligations across Keurig Dr Pepper and PepsiCo ways of working
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience; preferably with a consumer-packaged goods organization
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan
- Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments (internal/external)
- Excel experience to support analytical skills; ability to translate insights to actionable materials
- Strong presentation skills, both in the development of compelling stories and delivery
- Strong ability to work within and be successful in a highly matrixed environment
- Internal candidate with Field Sales experience
- Experience with commercialization, brand and/or account leadership a plus
- Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time and receive information clearly and concisely
- This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
