The Role:
The Quaker Customer Development Finance Manager (CDFM) – Wal-Mart, Giant Tiger & Amazon is an integral leader on the Quaker Revenue Team that is responsible for partnering with the Quaker Wal-Mart, Giant Tiger, Amazon & Metro Customer Development Lead & Key Account Managers.The Quaker CDFM – Wal-Mart, Giant Tiger & Amazon is responsible for financial leadership and strategic thinking while ensuring that balanced growth and profitable strategies are planned and achieved.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Partner with the Quaker Customer Development team to provide the financial thought leadership to deliver Annual Plans and the Periodic & Quarterly Forecasts for both volume and total trade expenses (Net Revenue) for Wal-Mart, Giant Tiger, Amazon & Metro.

  • Manage the Quaker CDFM - Metro & Longos.

  • Manage the team’s trade events in Compass (PFC’s TPM system) according to control standards and accrual accuracy.

  • Collaborate with Customer Accounting to manage valid deductions and to recover invalid deductions.

  • Lead the launch and adoption of the Quaker Revenue Management Financial Dashboard to the Quaker Customer Development Team and be the liaison of Mix Management on behalf of the Quaker Customer Finance Team.

  • Generate insights and analysis to drive growth and productivity, including review "pre" & "post" promotional event analysis and highlight areas of opportunity & coaching the customer development team to drive better financial understanding & performance.

  • Complete Balance Sheet Review each Quarter & support SOX testing based on the calendar defined by Internal Controls. Action plans are monitored, and remedies are implemented by due date established.

  • Collaborate with a Customer Development Team on call preparation, go on call to the customer & influence business results once/half.


Who’s a good fit for the team:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business

  • 5 to 10 years of financial analytical and planning experience

  • Strong multi-functional leadership experience & the ability to think and act decisively

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, attention to detail very important

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; must be able to communicate point of view & influence internal and external partners

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

  • Able to work effectively in a team environment

  • Able to manage a direct report
