Job Description

  • Lead the establishment of scoring and financial review and obtain necessary information to support supplier selection
  • Work with GP Control, Finance, and category teams to identify suppliers meeting supplier monitoring criteria, including obtaining contacts for privately held suppliers
  • Act as the lead contact and drive the work with GP Category and NASS Credit Team to obtain supplier financial risk reviews according to GP’s monitoring criteria
  • Ensure actions required per GP policy for suppliers with elevated risk are being executed
  • Drive the creation of and maintain GP’s tracking database of monitored suppliers and risk ratings
  • Support and maintain connection to category business continuity planning performed by category teams
  • Develop and maintain document and information storage and archival processes
  • Develop and produce recurring and ad hoc reports for GP leadership regarding risk management objectives and priorities
  • Monitor online media tools daily (e.g., Owler, Google Alerts) for suppliers in scope and key categories to identify and distribute media reports directly to GP leadership
  • Assess impact of supplier risk weightings on GP current year productivity targets and identify key at risk productivity deliverables
  • Support GP Finance and category teams on decision support needs, such as obtaining supplier financial information (e.g., gross margins ) relevant to the supplier selection process, and other ad hoc requests
  • Support teams with ad-hoc requests

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Master's Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics, including performing quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Business Objects, SAP, and databases for quantitative analysis and qualitative presentations in PowerPoint
