Job Description

Responsible for working with the value stream leads to ensure project & change management best practices are applied consistently. Focus of this role will be on successful execution of business change impacts.
You should be able to influence and be well organised and enjoy working as part of a large project team where no one day is the same. Your main objective is to work with the Programme Manager to use solid project management knowledge to assist the whole team to deliver a successful Wave 1 implementation against tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Builds and maintains excellent relationships with the key stakeholders internally (local, sector, global) and externally where relevant, and be seen as a credible point of contact for the project

  • Supports business change governance and follows the appropriate process and maintain quality standards where applicable

  • Proactively escalate Risks, Issues & Dependencies through existing governance. Facilitate dialogue to resolve complex issues and dependencies

  • Create and maintain business change project management deliverables for the project including workplans, project timeline, project charter, risk/issues

  • Lead assigned business change projects

  • Provide Project Management excellence within the multi-disciplined teams. Coach and mentor project teams

  • Ensure project management standards and processes are maintained through the project life cycle, and delivered on time, on budget, with the agreed level of quality.

  • Responsible for Stakeholder Management - communicating short-term plans, priorities, and project status to relevant stakeholders and project team.

  • Proven success and demonstrable skills in Agile Project Management.


Change Management:

  • Facilitate business change impact review sessions across sprints, provide initial validation of change impacts and monitor business change actions

  • Facilitate training content reviews with Sub Process Leads, scope training localisations and gather source content, keep course outlines updated and aligned across sprints

  • Support end user role mapping

  • Facilitate Super Users network engagement

  • Support SME network

Qualifications/Requirements

Knowledge and Expertise

  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and successful application of the principles, methods (waterfall and agile), techniques and tools of the effective management of business projects from initiation through to implementation.

  • Knowledge and experience in managing business projects which involve multiple activities and streams of people from both IT and business teams.

  • FMCG experience, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial experience are advantageous

  • SAP deployment experienced desirable
