Job Description

  • Compliance with all company and OSHA rules and regulations
  • Coordinate all maintenance related purchases for parts, materials and supplies (Decision Quality)
  • Maintain parts and supply inventories by verifying inventory levels (Problem Solving)
  • Anticipate needed equipment, parts and supplies related to special projects and preventative maintenance
  • Organize and maintain parts, supplies and material inventory through proper labeling and storage
  • Reconcile inventory levels through utilization of sign out sheets, work orders, and other documentation
  • Plan parts and material requirements and collaborate scheduled maintenance work with other departments as needed
  • Assist department manager and Planner with scheduling planned maintenance duties
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area ensuring workspace and storage areas are free from debris and Clutter

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2 years of experience working in production maintenance
  • 2 years’ experience using office technology
  • Prior experience working with vendors and negotiating
  • One or more years’ experience with packaging and food manufacturing equipment and repairs (preferred)
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Work equally well in a team and unsupervised
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills
  • It is within the responsibilities of the employee in this position to use safety equipment, adhere to the PPE policy, and comply with the safety procedures of Pepsi Beverages Company necessary for their protection
