Job Description

This role will be responsible for leading all testing and release management teams operating out of the IT Hub in India. Those teams are listed below:

Testing (Global, Sector and Tools):

Global: Governs how all testing is done for all global IT projects at PepsiCo as well as manages testing execution for all testing managed service delivery for those projects. Accountable to define the vision to build and deploy testing governance standards, all D&D end to end quality dashboards. Builds and manages the SAP Evergreen managed service.

Sector: Leads test execution employee and managed service delivery for select sector IT projects at PepsiCo as well as manages the Test Manager service offering and delivery globally. Accountable to manage testing labs globally as well as oversee and lead applicable test environment management through managed service providers.

Tools: Responsible for managing the IT testing tools used by the Global Testing team and the Development and Delivery organization. The scope of the role includes the inventory, licensing and usage of existing tools as well as the evaluation of new tools for optimization across PepsiCo IT. Accountable for training others on tools and managing vendor relationships for upgrades, etc. via a managed services contract

Release Management

Owns, defines, coordinates and improves change and release management processes, continuously refines and improves change and release management processes. Drives and coordinates release and change management activities, governance, change requests, calendars and delivery schedules at the organizational level. Other accountabilities as per attached job description of direct report.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 10+ years of SAP project and sustain experience with focus on ITIL tools & processes

  • 10+ years of related IT business work experience, experience managing a team

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, HP Service Manager, testing tools, CPG industry experience, project implementation and production support experience

  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers

  • Ability to manage budget

  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent

  • Requires fluent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate within virtual teams

  • Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
