Job Description

The IT Hub Systems Management Lead is responsible for the delivery of high-quality technical solution and delivery for S/4, Salesforce, JDA, and other Enterprise First applications across all sectors (AMESA, APAC, NA, Europe, LATAM). This role will manage multiple complex technical application landscapes across multiple geographies and also partner with other IT orgs (such as infrastructure, enterprise architecture, etc.) to plan and deliver comprehensive environment for each project from pursuit/estimation to deployment/Hypercare. In addition to managing projects, this role will be responsible for Data Volume Management (DVM)/archiving and upgrades within the PGT environments.

  • Environment & Systems Management

  • Lead systems landsape management delivery for all PGT deployment projects involving SAP S/4 and other tightly integrated applications including SalesForce, JDA, Employee Central (SAP Succes Factors), myBuy (Ariba).

  • Solve complex landscape issues between upper & lower landscapes and connections with Cloud applications.

  • Partner with all sector IT teams (PBNA, Europe, AMESA, APAC, LATAM) and support the PGT deployment initiatives across all phases of project from pursuit to hypercare

  • Partner with CTO Infrastructure teams and partner to ensure the right Compute, Database & Network infrastructure is there for all systems management activities.

  • Upgrade Management

  • Partner with IT management teams and provide the strategy and vision for all required upgrades across multiple systems related to SAP S/4 and other PGT applications

  • Provide upgrade roadmaps across all geographies for complex landscapes that’s aligned with fund availability & release calendars

  • Plan and manage upgrade deliveries to plan and cost.

  • Data Archiving Management

  • Develop DVM strategy for SAP S/4 and other PGT applications

  • Plan and deliver the strategy of archiving across all systems.

  • Common

  • Establish relationships with exernal global preferred partners, such as Infosys, Cognizant, etc., as well as close partnership with SAP MaxAttention to support the projects

  • Be an Agile Project practioner and support SAFe agile adoption across all projects.

  • Manage and negotiate contracts with the external partners.

  • Manage all financials related to systems management by partnering with corresponding Finance teams.

  • Ensure all quality, compliance and fiscal standards are met

  • Ensure effective resource utilization across the systems management team

  • Stays up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training, self-study, conferences, webcasts, user group participation, reading or other relevant means

  • Provide mentoring and training to less experienced team members

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Technology / Engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of 15+ years of related IT work experience, including significant experience managing teams (5+ years) and minimum of 10+ years of SAP experience with SAP Basis & landscape management.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with senior business and IT leadership/management

  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent; ability to influence at all levels of the organization including a willingness to challenge stakeholders to ensure best solution achieved

  • Agile project methodology experience & SAFe agile practioner.

  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are preferred: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, SAP HANA, SAP S/4, ITIL tools & processes, quality management tools

  • PepsiCo SAP PIRT knowledge and governance experience is an added advantage.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate; solves highly complex, politically sensitive problems across teams

  • Strong financial management experience.

  • Demonstrated flexibility to manage resources to plan, including effectively handling spikes in demand

  • Demonstrated excellence in project planning, project management and project delivery

  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and understands how to make tradeoff decisions to achieve both project and business objectives

  • Effectively manages multiple, conflicting priorities and ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements

  • Experience in Food/Beverage/Manufacturing or Consumer Products, industry preferred

  • The ideal candidate would have demonstrated experience leading solutions from initial visioning to final deployment and adoption
