Job Description

  • Lead the Green & Lean supply chain program for Frito Lay Pakistan
  • Lead the Supply Chain & Distribution Excellence program encompassing, GLSC, WOW-Customer services drive
  • Ensure highest levels of customer services by delivering the required primary sales number as per business plans
  • Management of the Finished Goods inventories nationwide
  • Play a key role in the execution of new product development and promotional activities to ensure a smooth phase in/out of activities and inventories on finished product.
  • Ensure effective execution of the DRP and MPS. Consideration has to be given to Bin location, customer service area and order size to facilitate achieving agreed delivery targets agreed with Sales.
  • Communicate effectively with all transport haulers, factories and staff members to ensure the lowest cost transport solution is realized. Manage transporters to ensure delivered services are in accordance with the service level agreement.
  • Responsible for the AOP for Finished Goods supply and Primary Freight.
  • Manage the PSP freight account and keep record of period activity. Initiate productivity improvements and load planning/load-levelling mechanisms with the aim to keep freight cost below AOP.
  • Custodian of S&OP process. Lead a weekly S&OE meeting with GM Snacks and key stake holders in an effort to create transparency and an understanding of supply chain service to sales. Ensure that pro-active solutions are implemented daily through close communication with Plants, DC’s, RSM’s, Bins and staff members.
  • Keep record of product write-offs and act according to the authorised delegated authorities and audit requirements.
  • Create cross-functional synergy between different departments to support a wider involvement in supply chain towards a fully integrated supply chain execution.
  • Pro-actively implement change through the Change Management process and provide ongoing support to Project Leaders.
  • Produce freshness profiles to the business on a regular basis with the aim to seek solutions with the aim to minimize write-offs.
  • Produce stock profiles for finished goods in accordance with Company working capital targets and AOP and revise in accordance with the Blue Skies policy.
  • Support the sales demand planning process and ensure only the consensus forecast is used in the execution of all inventory planning.
  • Custodian of ISCP.
  • Work with all Plant and Distribution teams to ensure integrated capacity planning for future forecasted volumes.
  • Ensure PepsiCo Audit compliance with regards to Finished Goods planning and replenishment and Primary Freight expenses.
  • Accurate line item management with sales teams and warehouse administration team to ensure correct ordering and forecasting of new and de-listed products.
  • Materials planning in close coordination with Demand Planner, Sales and Marketing to support the production planning and new product launches.
  • Inventory Management of all Raw & Packing Materials while ensuring a complete and true record keeping and proper warehousing of all inventories.
  • Ensuring physical stock taking of all inventories on a regular basis, as per the company policies, and resolution of all reconciling issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all warehousing operations and infrastructure meet all AIB, FS and HSE requirements. Developing capital plans and executing projects to enhance the capabilities of warehousing and distribution functions.
  • Managing 3rd Party storages effectively to ensure they are efficient and AIB, FS and HSE complaint.
  • Spearhead Supply Planning /MRP forum in monthly S&OP meetings
  • Developing an efficient transport system for all in-bound materials. Coordinating with transportation companies for cost effective and speedy deliveries of all incoming materials and supplies.
  • Managing logistics of imported materials, machineries, and spare parts including customs clearance of all consignments and follow ups with suppliers.
  • Achieving Service-to-sales efficiency of 98% to satisfy the detailed SKU-wise market demand while limiting FG write-offs to less than 0.05%.
  • Achieving Freshness challenge of less than 8days in company warehouse.
  • Serving the optimum market demand staying within the production constraints and maximizing the plant capacity utilization.
  • Developing and implementing KPIs for sustainability of Quality as well as Efficiency in LD&T function.
  • Delivering productivity in compressible spend and OCF category as per the target.
  • Provide leadership to reporting staff to develop them into a high performance team.
