Job Description

Support HR Director to build & execute BU HR Operations strategy to deliver business results of operations while creating a values based diverse & inclusive work culture. Partner with the Leadership team by planning and executing strategic HR initiatives that support the business and build the company as "Best Place to Work.

This role will be providing leadership to the function of Operations support services for both Snacks plants (Sundar and Multan) which includes, but not limited to, Plant Canteen, Transportation, office supplies, time office, front desk, first aid and health facilities, workers uniform and safety shoes etc.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring industrial peace at all times at both snacks plants. Leading the ELR team, this role will be responsible for ensuring permanent employees and contractual employees are compliant with minimum labor law requirements. In addition, this role will also facilitate the process of negotiation in an industrialized environment on charter of demand on time to time basis and ensure execution of biennial agreement on time. This role will also liaison with Government Stake holders to ensure industrial peace at both plants.

  • Develop strong credible working relationships with key stakeholders through the provision of guidance and advice with regards to all employee issues including staffing, performance management, reward and recognition etc
  • Benchmark organization design and structure with similar international market and suggest changes to drive efficiencies, support short and long term business plan changes and cost rationalization.
  • Develop and deliver strategic and tactical HR plans to support the delivery of the key programs and critical challenges in the business.
  • Lead the delivery and action planning process for PepsiCo’s Organizational Health Survey & Control Environment to drive improvements across the teams.
  • Continuously seeks out and leads implementation of continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage and support annual HR processes e.g. Performance Management Process, Manager Development Programs and employee surveys.
  • Lead and ensure the industrial peace at Sundar and Multan Plant.
  • Ensure that all the permanent and contractual employees are compliance with Labor Laws.
  • Lead the liaison with Labor department, PESSI, Social Security, Govt Authorities, other stake holders.
  • Lead negotiation with Labor Union and facilitate the process of Charter of demand, biennial agreement.
  • Ensure compliance with Human Rights at both snacks plants.
  • Coach others to implement and sustain HR processes and tools in the MU innovation and growth
  • Responsible to lead, roll out and implement org wide HR Core processes i.e. the performance management process, Organizational health survey, 360, MQPI feedback process, People planning.
  • Responsible for the annual refresher & completion of Values, Code of Conduct & Anti-bribery for both online & offline population
  • Responsible for compliance, record, testing and action plan for Level 4 Control Environment attributes of applicable People processes
  • Develop and drive the organizational capability agenda for CU Operations team and bottlers capability (i.e., professional and leadership skill development)
  • Champion the development and implementation of new interactive tools to improve effectiveness & employee engagement at all levels (Values Round tables, Values refreshers, recognition program)
  • Lead and facilitate PepsiCo soft skill building activities
  • Develop materials & lead workshops/lunch & learns/new tools to improve effectiveness of HR Core processes. This includes all stages of PMP (assess, align, explore, develop).
  • Ensure effective on-boarding processes and programs are in place for quick assimilation of new hires into the organization
  • Ensure that employees are well informed and maintain open lines of communication throughout the organization and promote two-way communication to enhance the culture of A Great Place to Work by delivering the management messages as well as sharing employee storylines/ feedback from employees
  • Ensure Rewards & Recognition execution is sustained and build on year on year basis
  • Lead and ensure delivery of support services at both snacks plants.
  • Lead and responsible of operations of Plant Canteen/Transport/Laundry/Uniform/Time Office, Health & Safety, Facility Keep up, General maintenance etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications/Certifications/Experience:

  • Masters with HR background/MBA
  • Preferably 10+ years in similar capacity/operating organization with HR exposure
  • Experience in FMCG manufacturing / plant experience
  • People Management Experience
