Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and monitor line, removing or shifting materials and/or finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation
  • Perform tests and use lab equipment to ensure product and package quality
  • Expedite quality concerns to the line, working with maintenance as necessary
  • Maintain daily records of tests performed and results
  • Operate all manufacturing equipment in an efficient and safe manner
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas
  • Follow the direction of Quality Control Leadhand, Supervisors, Manager

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must demonstrate a mathematical aptitude and be detail oriented
  • Technical and/or mechanical background an asset
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 35 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to perform constant standing and walking
  • Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, reaching and grasping
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to prioritize and meet multiple demands under pressure
  • Must be able to work shifts and overtime as required
