Job Description

This role is responsible to drive the overall Finance agenda for PGRE capital projects and the IFM financial planning and tracking
Specifically, this role will create financial processes and tools to provide visibility to spend, track cost savings targets, evaluate contracts and services, develop and report metrics, streamline approvals via workflows, develop PSP and drive real estate related best practices across Sectors and Functions.

  • Manage all major projects <$2.5MM (Chicago HQ; Canada HQ)
  • Manage IFM financials with the service provider and internal PEP costs including billing process
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling support for potential productivity opportunities (e.g. Real Estate Investment Trust, own vs. lease, in-house vs. outsourcing, etc.)
  • Prepare all major CAPEX requests; complete reviews and alignments from sectors; functions; Corporate controls; Treasury; Risk; Global IT
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling support for potential productivity opportunities (e.g. Real Estate Investment Trust, own vs. lease, in-house vs. outsourcing, etc.)
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Global IT; NAB; FLNA)
  • Provide insightful analysis of business results to senior management and perform ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem-solving and business improving recommendations
  • Support review of Real Estate CARs that require PGRE approval
  • Interface with PM and third party PM (Cresa)
  • Capital pipeline for projects to sectors/Global IT (quarterly)
  • Prepare POR for major projects to be presented to Bassim; Mel; Grace
  • Capital reporting - sector funded projects/scorecards/ commission rebate reporting (quarterly)
  • Review and provide financials for all operating / steering committee meetings
  • Period end results; preparation of forecasts; AOP; PSP
This role would report to the Global Finance Director, PGRE

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelors and progressively increasing experience in financial management; MBA Finance strongly preferred
  • Analytical and modeling skills with a sound financial understanding of lead/lag indicators
  • Experience with PepsiCo financial processes (PSPs, AOPs, etc.) & systems (SAP, Horizontals, Hyperion)
  • Knowledge of real estate transactions, and/or construction accounting required
  • Excel, Access, and Powerpoint knowledge a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience – requires working with many senior executives across multiple Sectors/matrixed teams
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership to drive progress; organized and capable of multi-tasking
  • Project management experience required   
  • Proven expertise at developing executive-level presentations strongly preferred
