Title: Route Driver – Long Haul

If you're looking for a challenging position with one of the world's leading snack food companies, here's your chance to join our team as a Long-Haul Class 1 Driver with our Lethbridge Facility.


Hours:
This position would report to the Lethbridge Traffic Department and will be required to work a combination of 2-day to 4-day over-the-road runs each week. The assigned runs will be dependent on current business needs.

Description:
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Operate a tractor/trailer truck to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of our finished products.
  • Check and assist in the unloading of the trailer.
  • Fully inspect the vehicle prior to beginning the route to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
  • Collect all proper authorizations prior to beginning route.
  • Maintain an accurate DOT log.
  • Ensure safety and compliance of load.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre Requisite Programs (PRP/oPRP) that is required for your area
  • Route includes Canada only locations, no USA travel.

Qualifications/Requirements

Who’s a good fit for the team:

  • An AZ license/Class 1 (no exceptions), clean abstract and current medical are pre-requisites for these positions, and the successful applicants must be willing to work on any shift
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Able to lift 50 pds
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Flexible to scheduling and willing to meet demands of business
