Job Description

This role supports the implementation and deployment of the IT projects requiring automation utilizing the tech hub. It is a senior test automation role to plan, prepare, and execute testing automation in SAP and other project delivery. Ensure quality testing automation across all value streams, and execute responsibilities per project planning, coordinating with core project teams. This role will adopt and adhere to Agile principles for Agile projects.
This role will be supporting multiple deployments and play a key governance role. Resource should have a proven track record in working across multiple large initiatives successfully

• Direct and participate in hands-on coding of automation scripts using Selenium, UFT, & Worksoft
• Work closely with customers, developers, testing teams and QA engineers in multiple environments, with focus on Automation project deliverables
• Lead the automation activities & identify Automation opportunities
• Take complete ownership of your work
• Perform Automation estimation & planning
• Execute, and maintain the test automation strategy for all assigned PepsiCo teams
• Status reporting to customers
• Peer review test automation code as required
• Work closely with internal customers to ensure all new features and functionally are included in the automation test suite as required
• Provide technical guidance to junior level automation engineers
• Guide / coach junior testing resources
• Serve as a key point of contact for testing from a methodology, standards, and quality oversight for key projects

Qualifications/Requirements

6+ years of experience in UFT & Selenium Automation tools
Minimum 8 years in IT testing

• MS Office & Teams, Testing knowledge, Sharepoint, Agile knowledge, breadth of application knowledge / expertise throughout PepsiCo
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required. Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.
• Good experience working with testing tools (Microfocus ALM, Azure DevOps, UFT, Worksoft, loadrunner, etc.)
• Extensive experience in UFT & Selenium Automation tools

• Ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
• Strong analytical skills
• Requires fluent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments

• Managing multiple workstreams
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to provide direct feedback, coaching and receive coaching and respond quickly
• Strong expertise in all test types and SAP Preferred but not required
• Certification in Agile Methodology
• Certifications in testing tools or testing domain
