Job Description

• Owns, defines, coordinates and improves change and release management processes, continuously refines and improves change and release management processes
• Drives and coordinates release and change management activities, governance, change requests, calendars and delivery schedules at the organizational level
• Plans program and release reviews and change approvals, performs exception management and resolves escalations
• Communicates risks, impacts and potential conflicts of change for the planned releases
• Ensures adherence to service management standards (e.g., ITIL)
• Provides reporting to track metrics on release compliance and quality (e.g., facilitating adherence to the guardrails for stage gates)
• Reviews and helps align application, infrastructure, upgrade and licenses roadmaps
• Assess progress against prior year IGP, consults on whether to close down or invest more in “inflight” IGP activities
• Coordinate the project prioritization discussion across divisions and BIS, develops program calendars, plans releases for the year
• Performs cross-division or cross-function prioritization and sequencing, pre-slots projects to enterprise release calendar
• Establishes freezes and gains alignment on outages, locks the enterprise release calendar change windows
• Reviews programs and status of each release, re-slot projects as necessary and tracks and monitors the status of the program release plan delivery
• Grants final release approvals

• Collaborate with Global Release Planning function in GCoE to align on and slot global initiatives onto sector release calendars
• Coordinates the assigned sector release calendar and provides input to EPD Sr. Director for inclusion in global release calendar.
• Owns budget management responsibility of $1.5-$3MM
• Prioritizes upgrades, enhancements and new deployments and resolves overlap and scheduling conflicts. Impact is sector and/or global/ERP wide (SAP system down)
• Helps coordinate program and release reviews and change approvals; Aids in exception management; Escalates issues as appropriate; Communicates risks, impacts and potential conflicts of change for the planned releases. Ensures successful end to end execution and delivery of release across all applicable teams
• Designs and executes global release management processes and tools (e.g. SM9 Ticketing Tool)
• Collaborates with global Sustain Leads (B1) to capture and maintain the sustain SLA and metrics at market, sector and global levels
• Defines the overall monitoring strategy within the SAP processes space and develops accelerators (processes, tools and templates etc.) for the easy adoption of monitoring solutions by future SAP projects. (preferred)
• Submits period forecasts, manages project and organizational financials by accurately tracking and updating expense status through period forecasts to ensure budget expectations are achieved.
• Provides input to annual objectives, conducts annual performance processes including setting objectives and measurement and performance evaluation, conducts PMP Process, responsible for hiring decisions

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
