General Summary:
This position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by completing assigned components inventory cycle counts. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory integrity for all components by performing cycle counts of physical inventory balances, analyze, and compare against perpetual systems records.

General Duties:

  • Willingness to work in cold environment including warehouse cold rooms and freezers.
  • This role requires regular presence on the plant floor.
  • Support Inventory Controllers to ensure that physical inventories and cycle counts are performed in compliance with the Corporate Controller’s Policy.
  • Support operational partners with business issues related to inventory, transactions, usage or other related areas.
  • Adhere to WMS/SAP/ADC/SOX policies and procedures related to inventory.
  • Willingness to cross train to support other Inventory Control functions.
  • Assist with Period End Duties.
  • Support other inventory-related duties as assigned.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis and/or LSS projects as assigned.
  • Willingness to learn & flex communication styles.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical inventory counts and maintain counts in alignment with the ABC Cycle Count Report; review variances with Inventory Controller in accordance to policy.
  • Follow directions from Controllers & Supervisor to support daily balancing of all systems in compliance with SOX requirements for all responsible locations. These systems include, but are not limited to: SAP, WMS, and ADC.
  • Filing of all count sheets, reconciliations and pertinent reports.
  • Act as backup for other ICS team members as needed.
  • Communicate and send email notifications to supported departments on weekly counts results.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in a supply chain related function.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and show an ability to work and participate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong visual counting skills.
  • Self-starter and able to prioritize cycle counting activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy:
    • Working knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Preferred (not required) knowledge: SAP, WMS and ADC (Juice Solutions)
