Warehouse Utility (PGCS) - Full-Time/Days

Job Description

The Warehouse Utility Associate will be responsible to perform limited (75%) office functions to ensure smooth operation of shipping, receiving, communication, and reporting. Communicate effectively with business partners and customers. Additionally, they will spent their majority of their time (25%) supporting the warehouse operations team by conducting cycle counts, loading, picking, and inbounding.
  • Meet annual AOP and KPI guidelines
  • Maintain productivity and quality targets.
  • Unload truck, put away product
  • Blind receiver completed and forwarded to Shipping Clerk BOL verified. Product put away according to warehouse plan
  • Pick order
  • Concentrate -- utilize SAP R/F gun to pick order according to FEFO, complete pallets, complete truck. Load truck if directed
  • Execute M&W tasks
  • Detailed knowledge of M&W measures and procedures
  • Follow guidelines to ensure clean, orderly, visualized workplace
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of measure data to Team Lead
  • Perform operator maintenance on non-highway equipment
  • Conduct pre-trip forklift inspection, note and report discrepancies. Operate equipment safely store and recharge according to DC procedure
  • Material handling, warehouse best practices
  • Eight to ten hour shift includes repetitive heavy lifting and machine operation. Support continuous clean operations and good warehousing practices
  • Compliance with all HSE rules and procedures
  • Accident frequency and severity measure:
  • Report incidents and near misses to management promptly
  • Prompt return to work
  • Inventory Accuracy -- ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound receipts, inventory adjustments and shipment processing. Research inventory discrepancies and errors.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reporting inventory discrepancies and adjustments. Periodic inventory cycle counts and reconciliation
  • Blind receiver completed and verified against Bill of Lading and entered into SAP system
  • Prepare and maintain document files (i.e. BOL, Seal Log, Inspection sheets, Training docs, etc.)
  • Accurate maintenance of all receipt and shipment related documentation
  • Drive a safe culture and wear PPE as required in the performance of your job
  • Completed 8 H&S training hours.
  • Completed and submit near miss / good catches
  • Compliance with all Manufacturing GMP and Plant Food Safety Policies
  • Follow GMP, Food Safety Programs and Prerequisites
  • Read and understand applicable procedures that are listed in SOP's
  • Understand AIB audit requirements as it relates to office functions & meet audit compliance requirements
  • Strong history of having a dependable attendance record and displaying a consistent positive attitude
  • Ability to express ideas, concepts and information clearly in both oral and written form
  • Must be self-starting and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook a plus
  • Readily adapts to change and has the ability to multi task
  • Exhibits personal accountability for decisions and actions taken
  • Acquire knowledge of SAP to provide backup, aptitude to backfill the LD&T Associate Coordinator
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures and DOT requirements
  • Actively promotes teamwork and the ability to work well with others
  • Initiative to continuously improve skill base

  • Assist in continuous improvement of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, GEHSMS programs and procedures though active participation in the near miss/good catch program
